Job Summary
Greet customers promptly and professionally while handling merchandise with care. Demonstrate products, replenish shelves per guidelines, and restock as required. Maintain pricing accuracy and assist with seasonal floor moves. Identify customer needs to make product recommendations, promote programs like CLUB Membership and In-Store Pick-up, and keep the work area clean and well-stocked. Operate the Point of Sale register and calculate discounts. Perform tasks under general supervision with occasional independent judgment to resolve problems. Enjoy discounts on retail merchandise, restaurants, and resorts.
Required Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent experience
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers
- Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system
- Must be able to lift objects up to 100 pounds or more (utilizing a team lift as needed)
- Must be able to move objects up to 20 pounds constantly
- Must be able to occasionally move and lift objects up to 100 pounds or more
- Must be able to occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps, etc.
- Must be able to occasionally work in tight and confined spaces
- Must be able to occasionally work in noisy environments
- Must be able to occasionally operate machinery and/or power tools
- Must be able to occasionally operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment
