Job Summary
Triage patient calls, evaluate problems, and conduct physical exams with image interpretation and history taking. Manage acute musculoskeletal injuries by coordinating care, administering injections, managing simple fractures, and performing suture and dressing removal. Assist in the operating room as a first or second assistant, preparing patients for surgery and performing surgical exposures and wound closures. Order diagnostic tests, prescribe medication, and counsel patients on preventative health and post-operative education. Document care in medical records, participate in physician call and rounding rotations, and monitor therapies for continuity. Provide emergency response including CPR. Full-time role with Monday-Friday availability, on-call responsibility, and hospital coverage; flexible to float to other Summit locations.
