Job Summary
Provide initial patient consultations, directing infertility evaluations and implementing treatment protocols. Obtain detailed medical histories, review records, and perform physical examinations while conducting ultrasonography, gynecological exams, endometrial biopsies, and laboratory interpretations. Learn and perform procedures such as sonohysterograms, office hysteroscopy, and intrauterine insemination. Collaborate with physicians to develop individualized treatment plans and counsel patients on reproductive endocrine disorders, polycystic ovarian syndrome, thyroid dysfunction, and endometriosis. Assist in early pregnancy surveillance and provide informed consent for ART services. Oversee personnel scheduling and act as a liaison between clinical staff and the supervising physician to ensure quality care. Requires an active, unencumbered California PA license, IVF or women's health experience, and proficiency with EMRs.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered PA license in California
- Experience in IVF (fertility)
- Experience with ultrasounds / sonography
- Solid communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Proficiency with EMRs
