Job Summary
APP (NP/PA) Interventional Pulmonology: Inpatient role joining Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group to provide patient care on the interventional pulmonology service. Responsibilities include evaluating and managing patients with pleural disease, performing pleural procedures (POCUS, thoracentesis, chest tube placement, tunneled pleural catheter management), independently managing procedural consults and longitudinal patient care, collaborating with attending physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes, and contributing to quality improvement and clinical research initiatives. Qualifies for a starting base compensation of $155,000–$185,000 with relocation assistance listed; a California residence is required at start. The position is full-time and appropriate for a PA or AGACNP with hands-on experience in pleural procedures and inpatient procedural care.
Required Qualifications
- Physician Assistant or AGACNP certification/degree
- ability to perform pleural procedures (POCUS, thoracentesis, chest tube placement, tunneled pleural catheter management)
- independent patient assessment and management
- inpatient procedural responsibilities
