App Np Neonatal

Advanced Practice Provider Neonatal in the NICU at The University of Kansas Health System. Manages health problems and coordinates care for neonatal patients in an expanded coverage model, delivering patient care and medical services in collaboration with a sponsoring physician under a Collaborative Practice Agreement. Responsible for evaluating medical problems, developing diagnostically appropriate treatment plans, documenting evaluations and treatments, ordering consults, providing education to families, ensuring regulatory and quality compliance, and contributing to quality improvement efforts within the NICU. Requires licensure for APRN or PA, and neonatal ICU experience; BLS certification required; NRP preferred.
