Diagnose and treat disease, defects, or injuries while following established nursing standards and written protocols. Perform charting, summaries, correspondence, and paperwork required for documenting care and billing. Engage in physician educational programs regarding capitated medicine and respond to requests for proposals for managed care contracts. Contribute to quality assurance, utilization management, and management information system selection. Assist in developing operational and capital budgets while conducting operational assessments for revenue enhancement and billing opportunities. Maintain courteous relationships with management, physicians, patients, and the public. This non-management role reports to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive at Prisma Health, serving over 1.2 million patients annually in South Carolina.
