Job Summary
App Monitoring Analyst responsible for 24x7x365 monitoring of SIT applications, responding to alerts and incidents, performing root cause analysis, enhancing monitoring tools, documenting resolutions, and collaborating with project teams and support personnel. Requires shifting coverage, proficiency with monitoring/logging tools (Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk), Linux expertise, web infrastructure knowledge, strong communication skills, and ability to work with CBP stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc Degree in Computer Science or Engineering from a leading University
- Three or more years of experience in a NOC or application monitoring role
- Experience with logging/monitoring tools (Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk)
- Familiarity with Linux and the command line interface
- A working understanding of web infrastructure (Web servers, load balancers, application servers)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work the night shift on a regular basis
