APP Inpatient Neurology - Part Time

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment management for inpatient neurology patients while maintaining accurate electronic medical record documentation. Order and interpret diagnostic studies, develop care plans, and facilitate coordinated communication with physicians, nursing staff, and university faculty. Counsel patients and families, advocate within the healthcare system, and participate in research, student education, and quality initiative activities. Maintain prescriptive authority and adhere to state licensing requirements. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to promote patient safety and OU Health's educational and research missions.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing if APRN
- MSN or Master's in Physician Assistant Services
- Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification
- Prescriptive authority
- Active RN and APRN License in State of Oklahoma
- Active PA license in State of Oklahoma
- Active Physician Assistant certification issued by the NCCPA
