Job Summary
RN Practitioner or Physician Assistant for Orthopedic Clinic; responsibilities include rapid assessment, nursing diagnosis, collaboration with MD partners to ensure safe patient diagnostic testing and optimal care plans, and performing advanced practice procedures. Requires board certification as an Advanced Practice Practitioner, state licensure in Kansas, and prescriptive authority where applicable; BLS/ACLS may be required depending on practice setting. Located at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, KS, with hospital-based clinical duties in a patient-care environment. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an Accredited School required
- Board certified as an Advanced Practice Practitioner in applicable population foci and/or sub-specialty
- Kansas License required
- Have Prescriptive Authority (RXN) or have Provisional Prescriptive Authority (RXN-P) if applicable for role with associated articulated plan
- BLS from the American Heart Association may be required depending on practice setting
- ACLS from the American Heart Association may be required depending on practice setting
