Job Summary
Physician-facing RN Practitioner or Physician Assistant role at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, KS. You will assume responsibility for rapid assessment and nursing diagnosis, collaborate with MD partners to ensure safe patient diagnostic testing and optimal care plans, and perform advanced practice procedures. Utilize the nursing process to promote and restore optimal health, and maintain accountability to the organization’s mission and core values within a supportive, team-based environment. Requires graduate from an accredited school, Kansas license, and board certification as an Advanced Practice Practitioner in the applicable population or sub-specialty, with prescriptive authority or provisional authority as applicable; BLS/ACLS may be required depending on practice setting. Pay range: $39.58-$79.12 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in a clinical or advanced practice setting (preferred)
- Graduate from an Accredited School required
- Board certified as an Advanced Practice Practitioner in applicable population foci and/or sub-specialty
- Kansas License required
- BLS from the American Heart Association may be required depending on practice setting
- ACLS from the American Heart Association may be required depending on practice setting
- Have Prescriptive Authority (RXN) or Provisional Prescriptive Authority (RXN-P), if applicable for role with articulated plan
