Job Summary
Role as RN Practitioner or Physician Assistant at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, KS, providing rapid assessment, nursing diagnosis, and collaborating with MD partners to ensure safe diagnostic testing and an optimal plan of care. Perform advanced practice procedures, utilize the nursing process to promote/restore health, and maintain accountability to the organizational mission and core values. Requires Kansas licensure and board certification as an Advanced Practice Practitioner; prescriptive authority may be required depending on role. BLS/ACLS may be required depending on practice setting. Location: Garden City, Kansas (hospital setting).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an Accredited School required
- Board certified as an Advanced Practice Practitioner in applicable population foci and/or sub-specialty
- Kansas License required
- BLS from the American Heart Association may be required depending on practice setting
- ACLS from the American Heart Association may be required depending on practice setting
- Have Prescriptive Authority (RXN) or have Provisional Prescriptive Authority (RXN-P), if applicable for role with associated articulated plan.
