Job Summary
Develop and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android using Flutter, focusing on improving user experience and enabling seamless integrations with hardware and embedded teams. Manage multiple apps across different teams and projects while ensuring consistent architecture, and collaborate closely with hardware engineers to bridge product and device capabilities. Participate in trade shows and engineering meet-ups approximately 2-3 times annually to maintain dialogue with customers and partners. This Senior Mobile App Developer role sits within the Entertainment Lighting team at LumenRadio, a company replacing cables in the world, with a focus on building automation and high-reliability applications used in major entertainment productions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interaction design, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
- Experience developing Flutter applications for both Android and iOS
- Some experience with native mobile development
- Familiar with Figma and the ability to work in it
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
- Experience publishing and maintaining applications in Google Play and App Store
- Experience with Bluetooth/BLE or wireless networking (Bluetooth/BLE, Zigbee, WiFi, LoRa, Thread, 6LoWPAN, NB-IoT, 5G etc.)
- Experience from the entertainment lighting industry

- An eye for user experience and an interest in creating intuitive interfaces
- Curiosity about customers, their workflows and the market, and enjoyment of translating those insights into better products
- An interest in embedded systems and hardware-related development, ideally with hands-on experience using platforms such as Arduino, ESP32 or similar
- Being curious and proactive, enjoying exploring unfamiliar technologies, and continuously seeking opportunities to improve our products and development practices
- Comfortable navigating autonomously in vague and unfamiliar environments
- Being a solid and central team player who can support junior colleagues as well as consultants
- A desire to understand the entertainment lighting industry
- Sharing a passion for cutting-edge technology
