Apollo High School Physical Education Teacher 2026-2027

Plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a high school Physical Education setting that guides and fosters students’ intellectual, emotional and physical development. Instructs and supervises students in and out of the classroom, maintains continuity of instruction, prepares for classes with documented evidence, encourages high expectations for behavior, employs varied instructional techniques and media, and aligns with district mission, goals, and policies. Maintains accurate records as required by law and policy, communicates effectively with students and parents, participates in faculty meetings and committees, supports after-hours education-related activities, and adheres to post-offer pre-employment screenings. Location assignments may vary by district needs, with contracts for year-to-year continuation under the Kentucky Teacher’s Retirement System (KTRS).
