Job Summary
Experienced licensed Advanced Practice Nurse to join the Dermatology team. Provides clinical services, develops and implements care plans with collaborating physicians, conducts patient histories and physical exams, initiates labs and diagnostics, interprets results, and coordinates referrals. Maintains continuity of care through patient management plans, documents in EMR, delivers patient education, supports performance improvement, and collaborates closely with physicians and other clinicians in a team-based approach. Requires NY or CT NP licensure, board certification, and 2+ years of experience. Compensation $150,000–$175,000 with a comprehensive benefits package. Location: Rockford, IL. Full-time role.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Current licensure as Nurse Practitioner by state of New York and/or Connecticut
- Board certification
- 2+ years experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Knowledge of medical procedures and guidelines concerning assessment, treatment, and recovery
- Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team
- Demonstrated professional competence and integrity and ethical conduct of practice
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and effective conflict resolution skills
- Patient focused and committed to providing outstanding and compassionate care and service to all patients
- Strong computer skills and EMR knowledge
