Job Summary
Design and evolve API services, endpoints, and integration patterns for third-party IP platforms while identifying and driving new API features based on partner needs and market opportunities. Lead technical discovery sessions and workshops with clients and vendors to translate business and technical requirements into clear API specifications and integration architectures. Act as technical advisor in client meetings, explaining solutions and guiding integration approaches, then collaborate with engineering teams to ensure robust, scalable, and secure API implementations. Create and maintain high-quality API documentation and developer enablement materials. This role involves working with the Head of Software Partnerships and back-end team to enhance API strategy and foster long-term partnerships within Dennemeyer's pioneering software arm, which includes an AI-powered patent search platform and internal GPT tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- 5 years of experience in API architecture, backend development, or solution architecture
- Strong expertise in .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core), API design, and distributed systems
- Experience with microservices, DDD, and modern integration patterns
- Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to external stakeholders and lead technical discussions
- Fluent in English and German
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
