Job Summary
API SDE II at Synchrony in Hyderabad, India: develop and maintain scalable Java-based APIs using Spring in a cloud-enabled environment; participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and SAFe ceremonies; coach junior engineers; analyze production defects and troubleshoot root causes; collaborate with product, operations, and cross-functional teams; work on microservices architectures, RESTful APIs, and related technologies (Java, Spring, Kafka, Docker, AWS); engage in CI/CD practices with tools like Jenkins, JIRA, and Sonar; maintain quality through tests (unit, integration, e2e) and continuous learning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree
- 2 - 4 years of experience in technology
- minimum 2+ years in API development using Java and Spring Framework
