Job Summary
The API Inspector role at TEAM, Inc. involves performing specialized nondestructive examinations using advanced methods and techniques, leading inspection scopes, analyzing complex data, and serving as a subject matter expert. Candidates will operate advanced equipment, report findings to clients, and mentor junior staff. Required qualifications include a high school diploma, valid driver's license, successful drug/alcohol screening, and the ability to meet safety requirements. Preferred certifications encompass API and NDT-related credentials, along with safety training. A commitment to safety and teamwork is essential in this performance-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening background check
- Must be able to obtain TWIC, DISA, and/or other site access credentials
- Ability to provide relevant documentation in support of obtaining one or multiple Team Level II Qualifications/Certifications in accordance with Team’s written practice and certification schema
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate results to peers, clients, and supervisors
- Ability to travel, work extended hours, and operate in field environments including confined spaces, elevated work areas, and extreme weather
- Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset
Desired Qualifications
- Multiple Conventional NDT Level II/III certifications or ASNT/PCN/CGSB equivalencies
- API 510/570/653, CWI, AMPP or other advanced certifications
- Radiation Safety Training / IRRSP or State Industrial Radiographer Card (if applicable to RT)
- Current TWIC, OSHA 10/30, or other industry-standard safety certifications
Additional Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
- Sufficient personal mobility to maneuver in standard refinery or plant environments
- Ability to maintain focus and multitask with effective communication skills
