Job Summary
Conduct field inspections of tanks, pressure vessels, and piping for compliance with standards and regulations, ensuring quality control. Provide recommendations for repairs and alterations to industrial components. Write detailed reports assessing inspection results and assessments. This role requires dual API 510/570/653 certification, willingness to work at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors, and ability to work shifts up to 12 hours/day for 7 days/week with extended travel. Must possess strong leadership skills, organizational abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD. Candidates must be U.S. persons due to ITAR requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Dual certified API 510 and/or 570 and/or 653 Inspector
- Willing and able to work at heights, in confined spaces, outdoors, and at lab, manufacturing and industrial sites
- Willing to relocate, work odd hours, work overtime, work varying hours and a varying schedule
- Local or willing to relocate
- Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal
- Pass a drug screen
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- U.S. Person status (U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylum seeker)
- Ability to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection
- Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds
- Work shifts up to 12 hours/day and 7 days/week and travel for extended periods of time
Desired Qualifications
- Additional NDT certifications
- Plant engineering or steel fabrication experience
- Industrial inspection, operations and maintenance experience
- Process improvement experience
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work unsupervised
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to write reports detailing assessments and results
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Power-point, AutoCAD
- Ability to multi-task and work in a growing environment
