Job Summary
Conduct internal and external inspections on refinery equipment at scheduled intervals to maintain mechanical integrity. Perform visual inspections of completed work, recommend and approve repairs, and deliver reports to clients. Assist in scheduling inspection activities and prioritize assignments by specific deadlines while adapting to changing tasks on short notice. Adhere to safety procedures, wear required equipment, and work outdoors in plant atmospheres with extreme noise levels. Complete customer and company job-related forms, training, and tests within guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years API 653 experience
- API 653 certification
- 10+ years of related experience
- Understanding of traditional NDE
- Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
- Ability to lift and carry 35 pounds
- Ability to climb, work at high elevations, and work in confined spaces
- Ability to walk and climb to maneuver within a refinery or plant environment
- Ability to gain access to elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells
- Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities
- Sufficient vision or other powers of observation
- Sufficient manual dexterity
