Job Summary
Review donor schedules, prepare collection equipment, and coordinate workflow with front desk and clinical staff. Perform donor eligibility assessments, initiate IVs, conduct apheresis or blood collections, and monitor donor safety throughout procedures. Educate donors on the collection process, program expectations, and aftercare while delivering a high-touch, positive donor experience. Initiate and complete donor collection procedures according to policies and standard operating procedures, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled and shipped timely. Manage adverse events, act as a clinical point of contact during audits, and lead continuous improvement of practices to enhance donor satisfaction and efficiency. Monitor daily schedules and perform front desk duties as needed. Onsite in Quincy, MA, Monday through Wednesday, 16–30 hours per week in 8–10 hour shifts starting at 6:30 AM. Massachusetts RN license and 1–2 years clinical experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Massachusetts Registered Nurse License
- Associate's degree or higher in Nursing
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- 1-2 years clinical nursing experience
- Experience starting IVs
Desired Qualifications
- Prior oncology, Apheresis, blood bank, or infusion experience
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Apps
