APD - Rideshare Commercial Claims Auto Physical Damage Adjuster

Investigate commercial claims using internal and external resources, including speaking with insureds, analyzing reports, and researching past activity to make damage and loss assessments. Determine policy coverage through analysis of investigation data and policy terms, then establish claim reserve requirements and negotiate settlement amounts within assigned authority limits. Write or review property damage estimates, take statements when necessary, and maintain accurate claim file documentation throughout the case lifecycle. Alert the Unit Leader to potential fraud or subrogation issues. Requires a high school diploma, 1-2 years of experience, and strong customer service skills. Office attendance twice monthly required for residents within 50 miles of designated locations.
