Job Summary
Assistant Program Coordinator (APC) in an Adult Residential Program, located in Saugus, MA. You’ll partner with the Program Coordinator to support individuals with autism and developmental disabilities, oversee daily operation of an adult residential home, and gradually assume leadership responsibilities including managing the home in the PC’s absence. Responsibilities include direct care and site operations, coordinating meal prep, shopping, recreation planning, and household organization; supporting MAP procedures, documentation, and safety protocols; maintaining communication with the PC, management, and nursing teams; and taking on-call coverage two days per week. The role is a manager-in-training with growth into a management position. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license with 1+ year of driving experience, and 1+ years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities (crisis intervention/physical management experience preferred). The posting notes hourly pay of $22/hour ($23 with MAP Certification) and benefits such as health insurance, tuition reimbursement, 403B with employer match, and other personnel programs.
