Job Summary
Create, maintain, and optimize equipment, line, and lot plans to ensure stable work-in-progress flows and efficient capacity utilization. Configure and develop dispatching rules in APC systems, mapping complex manufacturing logic including prioritization, batching strategies, and hot lot handling. Identify and resolve bottlenecks through data analysis, simulations, and what-if scenarios while monitoring production metrics like CT, OEE, and utilization. Ensure data quality across MES, routing, and qualification records, then collaborate closely with manufacturing, engineering, planning, and IT as a central interface function. Establish standards and dashboards to increase transparency and performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in physics, microsystems engineering (with a focus on microelectronics/semiconductor physics), or a comparable qualification
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, production equipment used, and relevant manufacturing and monitoring processes
- Basic knowledge of scheduling and dispatching methods, as well as programming and scripting skills
- Basic understanding of IT architecture in semiconductor manufacturing (e.g., MES, SPC, R2R, automation systems)
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of initiative, independence, and a structured approach to work
