Apatisiiwin Skills Development - Employment Counsellor

Employment Counsellor in Mistissini providing individualized counselling to residents, promoting labor-market integration, maintaining a client database, coordinating with local partners (Cree School Board, Health Board, employers), supporting clients through ASD programs, and assisting with applications. Responsibilities include facilitating workshops on resume writing and job-search techniques, developing and maintaining a local referral network, promoting ASD programs and services, and traveling occasionally. Qualifications include a university certificate in Career Development/Employment Counselling (or related field) and 1–3 years of relevant experience, with fluency in Cree and English (French is an asset). This role is paid hourly with a pay range of CAD 31.89–42.58 per hour.
