Job Summary
Complete resident service requests and troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues. Prepare apartments for new residents through quality make-ready work and perform preventive maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently. Assist with pool maintenance, grounds support, and community appearance as needed. Work closely with the Service Manager to prioritize maintenance tasks and utilize mobile technology to manage work orders. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to respond to emergency requests. Requires EPA or HVAC certification, two years of apartment maintenance experience, and a valid driver's license. Required Qualifications
- EPA Certification (or equivalent HVAC certification)
- Minimum two years of apartment maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, and general maintenance
- Ability to diagnose and repair maintenance issues efficiently
- Personal maintenance tools
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
- Comfortable using a smartphone, tablet, and maintenance software
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification
- Experience maintaining older apartment communities
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
