Job Summary
Oversee maintenance operations for Windsor at Legacy's 270-unit apartment community. Lead and coordinate general maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repairs), manage work orders (target 24-hour closure), supervise team members and vendors, handle unit turnover preparations, respond to emergency on-call maintenance and after-hours calls (weekends required), perform preventive maintenance on equipment, ensure safety/compliance with PPE and regulations, manage inventory and records, and provide professional resident interactions. Utilize HappyCo and other property management software, collaborate with the property management team, monitor budgets/contract management, and pursue value-added services and improvements to uphold high standards of service and community quality. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with proficiency with hand/power tools and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. EPA Type II and CPO certifications preferred or achievable within 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED. Technical training or certifications in relevant fields (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical) preferred.
