Job Summary
Oversee daily operations for the Deaconess - Zane and Krafft Center, including leasing, resident relations, and facilities management. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local housing regulations, including HUD and LIHTC requirements. Prepare and manage budgets, control expenses, and maximize occupancy. Supervise office and maintenance staff, coordinate vendors for repairs, and conduct regular inspections of units and common areas. Manage leasing activities, process applications, and coordinate move-ins and move-outs while verifying eligibility requirements. Foster a positive community atmosphere by organizing resident activities and addressing concerns promptly. Serve as a liaison between residents and leadership, maintain accurate records, and coordinate audits and inspections. Work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in property management
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- Must pass all pre-employment screening requirements, including employment and reference verification
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in property management, business administration, or a related field
- Experience in senior living, affordable housing, or multifamily housing environments
- Experience with HUD, LIHTC, and other affordable housing programs
- Experience managing budgets, financial reporting, and property operations
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a team and work with diverse groups of residents
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with residents, families, staff, and external partners
- Proficient in property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex situations and make decisions that align with company policies and resident needs
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
