Apartment Make Ready (Floater)

Job Summary
Inspect vacant units and complete the make-ready checklist, performing repairs on plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting. Replace light fixtures, outlets, switches, blinds, and hardware as needed, while patching, texturing, and painting walls. Repair or replace appliances and check for leaks, safety hazards, and code compliance issues. Complete all assigned work orders in a timely manner and report major maintenance issues to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager. This role requires dependable, detail-oriented work and basic knowledge of apartment maintenance, with a preference for candidates who enjoy working with their hands to ensure units are safe, clean, and move-in ready.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of apartment maintenance or related experience preferred
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and general repair
- Experience with apartment maintenance, basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, and appliance repairs is preferred
