Job Summary
Conduct resident repairs and routine maintenance, including troubleshooting plumbing, electrical components, HVAC equipment, and appliances. Execute basic apartment turns to prepare units for new residents and perform move-in/move-out inspections. Provide technical direction and training to other team members while managing vendor quality. Work a flexible schedule involving evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts, utilizing industry-leading technology to prioritize tasks and assist residents efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of maintenance experience
- Proficient skills in at least two technical trades (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, 7-day work weeks (depending on community needs and seasonality), and on-call shifts (at least one week a month)
- A reliable mode of transportation to respond to emergency service requests while on-call after hours
- Comfort with physical activity as you must be able and willing to move heavy equipment and machinery
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Maintenance experience, preferably in some form of facilities or building environment
