Job Summary
Knock out work orders efficiently and safely across multiple properties, handling make-readies, painting, carpentry, and basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues. Regularly inspect curb appeal, shops, and major equipment to report findings, while assisting with pool maintenance, grounds upkeep, and contractor coordination. Manage preventative maintenance plans, safety training, and on-call coverage including snow removal when assigned. Maintain a clean shop and act as a professional representative at every supported property. Occasional overnight travel is required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6+ months of general maintenance experience
- Some drywall experience, including painting and carpentry
- Basic knowledge of electrical, including outlets, switches, and light fixtures
- Some AC/HVAC experience required
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- A genuine, customer-service mindset with residents and property teams
- Willingness to complete basic training within 30 days
- Reliable transportation to and from each scheduled shift
- Ability to arrive on-site within 20 minutes when on call
- Valid driver's license (a driving record report will be run)
- Willingness to complete basic training within 30 days
- This role requires pre-employment screenings, including a criminal background check, drug screening and MVR check
