Job Summary
The Apartment Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs to ensure apartment homes and property facilities are in good condition. Key responsibilities include preparing apartments for move-in, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC units, electrical appliances, plumbing, carpentry, and locks. The role requires one to three years of related experience, along with EPA Type II or Universal certification, which must be obtained at hire or within 90 days. A valid driver's license is essential.
Required Qualifications
- One to three years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance, and/or mechanical repair
- EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification required at hire or within 90 days of start date
- Valid driver’s license from the state of residence
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to obtain Pool Certification within 90 days of hire
- Willingness to learn and attain additional certifications
