Job Summary
The Apartment Maintenance Technician performs general maintenance and repair to ensure apartment homes and property facilities are in good working order. Responsibilities include preparing apartments for move-in, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC units, electrical appliances, plumbing issues, carpentry, and locks. The technician follows a planned preventative maintenance schedule and conducts follow-up with residents after repairs. A valid driver's license, EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification, and 1-3 years of facility maintenance experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance, and/or mechanical repair
- HVAC experience
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- EPA Type II or Universal Certification (or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire)
- Knowledge of HVAC systems
- Experience in multifamily property management
