Job Summary
Maintenance Technician II at Bear Real Estate Group (The Intersect, Madison, WI) handles more complex maintenance tasks including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems. Leads detailed unit turnovers, mentors Technician I staff, oversees preventative maintenance programs, and supports larger projects such as system upgrades or renovations. Responsibilities include inspecting units and systems, documenting logs for inspections and safety systems, assisting with bids up to $5,000, coordinating cross-property support, and participating in on-call rotations with travel between properties. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 3–5+ years of maintenance experience; technical certifications (e.g., HVAC, EPA 608) preferred. Required Qualifications

- Experience training and mentoring junior staff
