Job Summary
Apartment Maintenance Technician II at Windsor West Lemmon in Dallas, TX, responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and performing preventative maintenance across apartment homes, common areas, mechanical rooms, plumbing, electrical and appliance areas. Requires minimum 2 years’ experience in multifamily residential, commercial, or hotel maintenance, with intermediate HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry skills. Must be available for rotating on-call after hours and weekend emergency response. EPA Type II certification preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days; CPO certification preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days. Flexible schedule with some weekend work and on-call rotations. E-Verify participation and Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with multifamily residential, commercial or hotel maintenance
- Familiarity with building safety systems including the fire systems (sprinklers/alarms)
- Ability to use smart devices and property management software for maintaining accurate records and work order completion
- Advanced knowledge of hand tools and basic power tools
- EPA Type II preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of start date
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of start date
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, some weekend work and ability to participate in the on-call rotations
