Job Summary
Apartment Maintenance Technician I responsible for routine and general maintenance of facilities, buildings, and equipment on site, plus certain groundskeeping tasks. Daily duties include using power tools, completing unit turns, and troubleshooting appliances, with a focus on customer service and effective communication with residents and staff. The role requires acting as a Redwood ambassador and maintaining a positive resident experience, including on-site work orders, repairs, and on-call emergency maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of general maintenance experience
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- HVAC Certification (preferred)
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Apartment maintenance experience
- Ability to operate smartphone, tablet, and computers
- Physical requirements: lift up to 50 pounds and physical activity
