Job Summary
Complete inspections, work orders, and tasks across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, gas, appliance, structural, lighting, and security systems while maintaining a high level of customer service. Solve routine and moderately complex problems, notify the Service Manager for parts or supplies, and participate in an on-call schedule for emergency responses. Keep current on required training, communicate with contractors, vendors, and the Leasing Office regarding charges or concerns, and ensure the community remains clean, neat, and safe. Maintain time sheets, use community equipment and vehicles per policy, and represent the company professionally. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in a service technician or related field
- trade school certification in HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, electricity, or related field
- 1 years of experience in service technician or related field
- EPA 608 Type I & II
- Valid driver's license
- Demonstrated knowledge in four technical areas including HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliances, Landscaping, Painting, Carpentry, and Swimming Pools
- Demonstrated ability to use a smart device and a computer with organizational tracking systems
- Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work outside for long period of time in various weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Valid CPO certification
- CAMT designation
