Job Summary
Apartment Maintenance Technician at The Willard Towers in Chevy Chase, MD. Provide excellent resident service and support to team members; perform basic apartment turns to prepare units for new residents; complete resident-requested repairs and routine maintenance (e.g., troubleshoot and repair/replace plumbing, electrical components, HVAC equipment, and appliances); may train other Maintenance Technicians and assist with vendor management and move-in/move-out inspections; duties vary based on team needs, community requirements, and seasonal demand; must be detail-oriented, customer-service driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with a reliable team mindset.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2+ years of maintenance experience in facilities/building environments or relevant training/education program
- Basic skills in two or more technical trades (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, 7-day work weeks (depending on community needs and seasonality), and on-call shifts (at least one week a month)
- Reliable transportation to respond to emergency service requests
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
