Job Summary
Complete inspections, work orders, and tasks across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance areas while solving routine and complex problems. Notify the Service Manager for parts inventory, communicate with contractors and the Leasing Office regarding charges or resident concerns, and ensure community safety and cleanliness. Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency responses, document time and work per policy, and maintain required certifications and training. Maintain time sheets and community equipment per manufacturer standards. This role supports HHHunt's mission to improve living experiences through meaningful, customer-focused service in our Abberly Avera apartments.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in a service technician or related field
- trade school certification in HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, electricity, or related field
- 1 years of experience in service technician or related field
- EPA 608 Type I & II
- Valid driver's license
- Demonstrated knowledge in four technical areas including HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliances, Landscaping, Painting, Carpentry, and Swimming Pools
- Demonstrated ability to use a smart device and a computer with organizational tracking systems
- Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work outside for long period of time in various weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Valid CPO certification
- CAMT designation
