Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for completing inspections, work orders, and turns in four technical areas per policy; diagnose and fix electrical, plumbing, HVAC, gas, appliance, structural, lighting, and security systems; handle on-call emergencies, maintain required trainings and certifications, manage communications with the Leasing Office and Service Manager, ensure the community is clean, neat, and safe, and deliver high-quality customer service to residents.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of experience in a service technician or related field OR trade school certification in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliances, Landscaping, Painting, Carpentry, Swimming Pools, or related field
- EPA 608 Type I & II
- Valid CPO certification
- CAMT designation
- Valid driver’s license
- Demonstrated ability to provide high level of customer service
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work outside for long periods in various weather conditions
