Job Summary
Conduct plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpet, and appliance repairs while maintaining common areas and exteriors to the highest standards. Perform and delegate maintenance tasks, respond to after-hours emergencies on a rotating basis, and ensure a safe environment for residents. Maintain accurate records for work orders, parts, inventory, and service follow-up. Foster a positive, customer-focused environment for residents and team members. Participate in ongoing training and mentorship through "The Park Academy." Work location is in Orange, VA, with rotating after-hours on-call availability and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift/carry up to 75 lbs. frequently
- Rotating after-hours on-call availability and weekends
- Experience in apartment maintenance or related field preferred
- HVAC certification preferred
- Skilled in using power tools and basic technology (computers/tablets)
- Good people skills, friendly and helpful attitude
- Strong record-keeping and organizational skills
- Caring attitude, pride in your work, and commitment to high performance
- Self-motivated, hard-working, and high-energy
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in apartment maintenance or related field preferred
- HVAC certification preferred
