Job Summary
Apartment Maintenance Supervisor overseeing maintenance operations at The View at Crow Creek in Calabash, NC. Responsibilities include supervising daily maintenance, coordinating inspections/move-ins/m move-outs, ensuring units are ready for occupancy, managing service requests and quality, hiring/training/evaluating maintenance staff, conducting vacant unit inspections, addressing safety hazards, overseeing preventive maintenance of property systems, coordinating vendors/warranties/quality control, and performing maintenance tech duties as needed. Requires 5+ years maintenance experience with supervisory background, strong troubleshooting (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances), valid driver's license, EPA Freon Recovery certification, and related permits; proficiency in tools, organization, communication, budgeting support, and ability to work independently. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years general maintenance experience
- Prior supervisory experience
- HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances troubleshooting
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation
- Basic English literacy and math skills
- EPA Freon Recovery (Type I & II or Universal) required
- Certifications: CAMT, HVAC, plumbing, or additional trade certifications preferred
- Required state/local permits (pool, electrical, HVAC, plumbing)
