Job Summary
Prioritize and complete service requests and work orders efficiently while overseeing unit Make Ready/Turn processes for new move-ins. Coordinate with the Property Manager on budget and planning and lead and implement a preventative maintenance program. Perform interior/exterior painting and staining as needed and participate in the on-call rotation (1 week every 5 weeks). Manage maintenance for up to 300 units with required HVAC expertise, including drywall, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair. This role supports Monarch Investment's team at Forest Hills Apartments in Wilmington, NC, where you will apply hands-on skills to maintain multi-family housing standards.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of maintenance experience in multi-family housing
- Experience managing maintenance up to 300 units
- HVAC experience required (AC, electric, forced air systems)
- Experience working with maintenance budgets
- Strong leadership skills and experience supervising a maintenance team
- HVAC Certification
- EPA Certification
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a multi-site maintenance manager (preferred)
- CPO Certification (preferred)
