Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of property maintenance operations by creating daily action plans, coordinating unit turnovers, and managing service requests to ensure timely completion. Lead the maintenance team in performing routine inspections, executing preventative maintenance, and delivering resident communications while maintaining compliance with safety standards and building codes. Manage vendor relationships, order supplies, and maintain accurate records to control inventory costs and support operational efficiency. Participate in an on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies and work on-site at the Minneapolis property.
Required Qualifications
- Reliable transportation to get to work
- 2–3 years of experience in residential maintenance, including team leadership or supervisory experience
- A passion and ability to lead and develop team members
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors, and team members
- Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex tasks across a dynamic property environment
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Monday to Friday schedule
- On call availability
- Weekends as needed
- Ability to work on-site at the property in Minneapolis
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with property management systems (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio) is a plus
- EPA certification, HVAC license, or other relevant credentials are a plus
