Job Summary
Maintenance Manager leads apartment-property maintenance operations with hands-on involvement and supervisory responsibilities. Oversees maintenance program execution, ticketing, staffing, onboarding, scheduling, timekeeping, PTO, and vendor relationships; ensures vehicles, tools, supplies, equipment, warranties, inspections, and maintenance-related invoices are properly managed; works with Area Manager to identify property needs and priorities; responsible for safety, timely and professional service, and coaching a maintenance team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Related work experience or relevant education/training
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- HVAC Type 2 or Universal Certification
- Prior supervisory or team leadership preferred
- Strong communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
