Job Summary
Maintenance Director at Civitas Senior Living responsible for facility oversight, daily walkthroughs of the residence, reviewing resident work orders and completing tasks, painting interiors and drywall repair, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, cost management with the Executive Director, coordinating outside contractors, executing a preventive maintenance plan, maintaining repair/maintenance/warranty/inspection records, and upholding a professional, helpful presence in a senior-living community.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: At least 1 year as a Maintenance Director, preferably in senior living or multifamily property management
- Skills: Expertise in painting, drywall repair, and use of standard power tools
- Chemical Knowledge: Understanding of proper usage, storage, and disposal of various chemicals
- Emergency Response: Ability to move quickly and remain calm in emergencies
- Work Ethic: A careful and cautious approach to work, with timely completion of tasks
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods
