Job Summary
Conduct daily walkthroughs of the residence, grounds, and parking areas to ensure optimal condition. Review resident work order logs daily, complete assigned tasks, and execute a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan based on residence-specific schedules. Perform hands-on repairs including painting interior walls, texturing drywall, and troubleshooting various equipment. Manage and supervise outside contractors while collaborating with the Executive Director to maintain expenses and complete bid proposals. Accurately maintain records of repairs, warranties, and inspections. Requires at least one year as a Maintenance Director with expertise in painting, drywall, and power tools. Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year as a Maintenance Director
- Experience in senior living or multifamily property management
- Expertise in painting
- Expertise in drywall repair
- Use of standard power tools
- Understanding of proper usage, storage, and disposal of various chemicals
- Ability to move quickly and remain calm in emergencies
- A careful and cautious approach to work
- Timely completion of tasks
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Residency within the State that this Community/Location operates in
