Job Summary
Maintenance Technician at Civitas Senior Living in Tyler, TX, partnering with the Maintenance Director to create a safe, vibrant living environment. Responsibilities include conducting daily walkthroughs to identify and repair malfunctions, providing skilled maintenance, diagnosing and repairing equipment, assisting with parts cost control, coordinating preventive maintenance, maintaining records, delivering resident-centric service, and following safety regulations. Requires at least 1 year of maintenance experience (preferably in apartment/multifamily), ability to lift up to 50 lbs, emergency-response readiness, and HVAC/plumbing/electrical certifications are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: At least 1 year as a Maintenance Tech, preferably in an apartment or multifamily environment.
- Physical Ability: Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Emergency Response: Ability to act quickly and remain composed in emergencies.
- Certifications or Licenses: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
