Job Summary
Maintenance Technician at Civitas Senior Living partners with the Maintenance Director to create a safe, vibrant living environment for residents. Responsibilities include conducting daily walkthroughs to identify malfunctions and address repairs; provide skilled maintenance solutions; diagnose and repair equipment; manage parts expenses with the Maintenance Director; coordinate preventive maintenance according to schedules; maintain essential records; deliver resident-centered service with empathy; adhere to safety standards and use chemicals safely; respond quickly in emergencies. Requirements include at least 1 year of experience as a Maintenance Tech (preferably in apartment/multifamily settings); ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods; HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or related certifications are a plus.
