Job Summary
Maintain apartment facilities and support resident living environments as a Maintenance Technician. Responsibilities include conducting daily walkthroughs to identify and repair malfunctions, providing skilled maintenance services for service requests, diagnosing and repairing equipment, collaborating with the Maintenance Director on parts costs and purchases, coordinating preventive maintenance per schedules, keeping essential records, delivering empathetic resident-focused service, adhering to safety standards and chemical usage guidelines, and responding quickly to emergencies. Requires at least 1 year of maintenance experience in a similar setting; preferred HVAC/plumbing/electrical certifications. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Position is located in Dripping Springs, TX within Civitas Senior Living communities and requires on-site presence.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: At least 1 year as a Maintenance Tech, preferably in an apartment or multifamily environment.
- Physical Ability: capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Emergency Response: ability to act quickly and remain composed in emergencies.
- Certifications or Licenses: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
