Job Summary
Perform routine and emergency maintenance repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and structural components within apartment units and common areas. Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards, ensuring compliance with local codes. Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and collaborate with property management to coordinate larger repair projects. Maintain accurate records of work orders and inventory. This role supports resident retention and community reputation with on-call availability 24/7/365. Century manages approximately 4,000 units across Lincoln and Omaha markets, utilizing innovative technology to maximize investment performance.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in general maintenance or a related field, preferably within residential or apartment communities
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
